Marutirao Harirao Mahadik Art’s & Commerce College Modnimb is established in 1994 for convenience of higher education to the students of Modnimb and nearby villages. It is rendering valuable service in the field of education by providing qualitative education to the students belonging to rural areas. The college started with 60 students in 1994 now the strength has gone up to 500. The college is affiliated to Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur and runs the three year’s integrated degree course in Art’s faculty. The college has a team of eminent and energetic teachers who are devoted to their work. The 12 member staff has three teachers who have passed SET exam, five teachers have completed their Ph.D, three have completed M.Phil and three teachers are Ph.D Guides. All these faculty members are working for the student’s personal, educational, social, and cultural development. We are trying to raise the educational standards by performing curricular and extra-curricular activities in the college. Most of our students are working in the different fields on the different positions. Numbers of students are passed SET/NET exams and are recruited in the educational field. Three students have been achieved gold medals of the university. The College has achieved commendable progress with its high-profile academic infrastructure including internet and computer facilities, well-endowed laboratories, and a learning resource center, facilitating the career building of students. In Today’s world of Technological revolution, it has become mandatory for every technical institute to keep abreast of new upcoming technologies.
